A wonderful day in Helsinki
We went to Helsinki yesterday to visit the temple, it was great. This was our first time in 2011! The weather was great and we had a nice time.
After the temple we had a lot of time until our boat left. We usually get a day cruise on the Viking express, it leaves Tallinn at 8 and then returns at 21:30. We got the tickets on sale so that is what we had to work with. The green boat is a Tallink boat, they never go on sale.
With our spare time we decided to see some of the sites in Helsinki. We went to the rock church, but it was closed. We still walked around on top though.
This is the Sebelius Monument, the most famous monument in Finland. It was pretty neat. I got the ideas about the church and monument from my family, when they were here for the wedding they took a tour of Helsinki and saw all the main tourist attractions.
